The purpose of our Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet through personal witnessing, and the sharing of God's Word.  To provide spiritual guidance throughout our communities that will promote Godly relationships.

The Outreach Ministry will:

Reach those that are incarcerated, hospitalized, institutionalized, and those that are in need of the gospel outside of a traditional church setting.  Teach the Word of God in order to provide clear guidelines and instructions necessary to develop character and the qualities of Jesus Christ.  Disciple individuals in a manner that encourages a continued pursuit of the newfound relationship with Jesus Christ, while emphasizing the significance of committing and connecting with a local church.  Lead by example, a lifestyle that exemplifies what it means to be a follower of Christ.

Our Outreach Ministry includes:

Backpack School Supplies Ministry, Angel Tree Ministry, Thanksgiving Baskets Ministry, Prison Ministry, Donations to Feed the Hungry and Comfort Dolls for Children’s Hospital and the Calvert Nursing Home Ministry.

Our Missionary Department charge is to provide opportunities to promote the general welfare of the women in the church through worshiping, working and witnessing in all areas, while also teaching and encouraging spiritual growth and personal development.  In addition, our Missionaries continue to maintain commitment to church missions while also addressing the material needs of our community.

Our Brothers Ministry is dedicated to enriching the lives of the brotherhood, within the Church and in the community.  Our desire is to bring men into a meaningful relationship with God and developing them into fully devoted followers of Christ making a difference in the lives of those under their care, under their influence, and in their lives.

Our Sisters Ministry goal is to build healthy relationships in the body of Christ, promote spiritual growth, unity and love. We exists to serve and minister to women of all ages by teaching the Word of God and providing fellowship, evangelism and discipleship, with the purpose of encouraging a deeper walk with Jesus Christ.

Our Youth Ministry goal is to teach the youth, prepare them to lead, and equip them to be effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ.  We endeavor to help each and every young person to grow personally and spiritually, and encourage confidence in the Word of God, helping them on their journey toward Christ.

The New Members Ministry is first and foremost to support the mission and vision of the Church and the Pastor.  Our New Members Ministry welcomes new members to Mt. Gethsemane by encouraging a growing/maturing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  All new members joining the church will be introduced to church principles, practices, member responsibilities, auxiliaries and ministries of the Church.
